Hi folks!
*updated May 2014 as the original links were dead, and I managed to ID the track*
I recorded this one from a liveact on the radio for about four-six years ago, when Dj Ferry Corsten performed live from Greedy Records in Oslo on something called Greedy Records Top 20 or something like that. Since then, I haven't been able to find the name of this melody. It has a quite long intro, taking more than five minutes before the takeoff begins, which I think is one of the best one I have ever heared.
This is the whole track, until the mix for the next tune begins, totally 9min:

The track is L-Vee - Tears (http://www.discogs.com/master/view/45746) |

I have linked two parts of the melody:
First part, from about 1min 20sec to 2min 30sec into the melody:

The second part, from about 5min 50 sec to 7min 20 sec or so:

Sounds a bit like :
Humate - Love Stimulation (Love Club Mix) (9:15)
But I know thats not it.It could be some other remix of the tune...
EDIT:Ok I am convinced it is love stimulation...its unmistakable. |

Wow I actually tried to ID this track again couple of days ago, searching through a lot of live sets from Ferry Corsten recorded around 99. The sound is also kind of similar to what Oakenfold played in this period but could not find it in his Essential Mix sets :( |

| Loving this old tune. So much going on but works brilliantly. Somebody has to know. |

I'm bringing this thread out from the grave, as I've finally figured out what tune this is, after ten years! And yes, I'm stubborn!
The track I've been after is L-Vee - Tears, from a guy you probably know better as Airwave. It can be found on these releases: http://www.discogs.com/master/view/45746
In the end I found it by listening through releases from 1999, which has taken a while :)
*edit: I've updated the first post in the thread* |
