Featuring tracks from Sasha, Tiesto, and BT
CD 1 entitled OThe Dungeonmasterıs Guideı is in homage to his role-playing
gaming days; the original Dungeon Masterıs Guide being the first gaming book
Dieselboy ever bought. The mix is put together as an epic adventure across a
varied and rugged musical terrain. All the narration has been scripted
personally by Dieselboy, and features the voice of Peter Cullen, better
known as Optimus Prime from the famed Transformers anime series.
CD 2 of the double-disc set, entitled ORise of the Humansı, features an
unmixed bonus EP of exclusive remixes from Dieselboyıs label, HUMAN. For
this project, Dieselboy enlisted some of his favorite US drum Onı bass
producers, including Gridlok, KC, Stratus, Evol Intent and Basic Operations.

I listened to this yesterday and I must say that Damian strikes back on this one. I hated his last album "Project Human". This album is as good but not better than "The 6itxh Session" (which I think is the best DnB album of all time). I kinda like the "Flight 643" remix even thO its kinda cheesy. I really think that the Gridlok & Echo Remix of "Usual Suspects - Doorway" is just horrible. It completly ruins a great classic. Other tracks that are worth mentioning are:
Basic Operations - White
Sasha - Immortal (Kaos & Karl K Remix)
Teebee & Calyx - Follow The Leader
"Concord Dawn - Take Me Away (Ill Skillz Remix)" is the overall gem on this cd.
Mr. Higgins returns back hard on this one!
I give this comp a strong 9/10 |

i almost got this cd but i only had enough $ for one cd when i was in the store, it was a toss up between the new dieselboy and the new dj icey so i went with icey. it's pretty good but i expected different, i was hoping for it to be funkier like his essential mixes but it's almost more like housey breaks. still good but i'm starting to wonder if i made the wrong decision :conf:
oh well, the Icey remake of Crystal Method's Comin' Back makes it worth the $ alone - HOT!!! :eyespop: |

| Yeah, I like it a lot as well. Dieselboy tends to throw down some pretty decent material, and I can't say he dissapoints with this one. |

| I didn't care for the BT - Knowledge Of Self "remix". Evol Intent produces tightly, but apart from a minimalist synth squiggle from the original here and there, it really didn't bare much resemblance to the original. Where are the vox? Coulda been kickass, but didn't feel like a slamming remix to me. |
