Good clubs in Barcelona?

My brother just called me from Spain in distress, yelling how the nightlife in Barcelona sucks. I had a tough time finding a good club myself when I was there in '99, so I'm no expert. Anyone have any suggestions? He's not really a clubber anyways, but something with a crowd older than 18 yrs old would help.

personally, I went to a club on the waterfront... it's in a famous complex with dozens of bars and clubs... it's right on the docks
one of them was off the hook, tons of hot locals

I went to a place that played decent house.
and hey, when you have a hot Catalunyan chica dancing up against you, the music isn't a big issue:

Industrial decor - metal floor and ceilings; this is the place to dance, dance and dance. Frequented by trendy, modern locals and foreigners. They mainly play techno music and dedicate special nights to international well-known DJs. The regular is Loe.
No doubt, this is one of the best nightclubs in Barcelona. The door policy is not strict at all and it is easy to find people outside giving out flyers to get in for free. That's why this spot is always packed - it is only 200m2. On the top floor the music is more commercial. Very good ambience.

Hey!! I live 100 km away from Barcelona. The scene there is so good, house and techno mainly, you have just to know the places.
Take a look in the spanish forum or ask there if you don't understand spanish, but there are some Barcelona threads in the spanish forum. |
