Im depressed....had a blast all weekend now Ive had to come back down, and it sucks! (pg. 3)

I had this amazing beer the other night. 16% alcohol so they would only serve you 1. It was "Old Stock Yard Ale" 1 of the best beers I've had in awhile |

my basic was tough and some of the sticks just didn't get how to play along and have a some discipline, those ones are going to make your training living hell. it will seem like its never gunna end, then it does and you go to advanced training. now this becomes even worse because you get more freedom but your still treated like . when it all ends and you make it through, you'll look back like damn, that sucked, but i'm alive. life is good!
my worst memory was going on a 3 day bivouac and sleeping at the range. it was mid-december and all we got was a foam pad and a sleeping bag by the time i woke up i was covered in 3" of snow (this was at Ft Knox, KY) and i couldn't see my battle buddy next to me because it snowed so much. the M16 was cold as and you know you gotta sleep with it. i was wet and cold the whole time next day we did a 10K ruckmarch back, i showered and I was never so glad to have a hard, small bed to sleep on. amen, i am basking in my freedom right now. |

wow, thats a hell of a beer. I think the most alcoholic beer on earth is 19% so youre damn close.
Where was this at? and wheres it brewed in? |

had it at the place I told you about awhile ago called Monk's. They have 18 seasonal rotations on tap and about 500 in bottles. It's a belgian restaurant and bar...
Old Stockyard was from Cali I believe. I have had a few beers up in the 10-18% range, Victory V-12 being one of the better ones |

try it, we have a huge dealer here and he couldn't find it at all. I think because they dont sell it in bottles, only send out a very limited supply in sixtels |

lol, my father owns a wine/liquor store, my uncle is a liquor wholesaler, I collect wine/beer/sake, and my best friend is a beer nut with collecting and brewing his own. Yes, I am a lush by default :D |
