i have all of armin's sets... the ASOTs and such... blah blah blah blah blah... too lazy to trade.... contact fresh prince... hes got them all too.... i dont have the time... use dc++ and use the essentialsets hub.... go to www.hublist.org... search for "trance" and get in all the trance hubs.... and finish your collection.... i have all of tiesto's, oakies, and ferry's pre-2002 sets as well... when they actually were good. Now they're all a bunch of sellouts IMO.... armin is still cool.... pvd can be cool when he wants to.... he hasnt wanted to in years..... :clown: is my opinion biased? hell yea.... i'm sure they have their good moments live.... but from the recordings i have... post 2002 has been nothing but tried and tested crap.... sickens me.... after tiesto 02-02-02 dutch dimension 6 hour set... things started going downhill... again... all just my opinion... oh... and for oakenfold... i only like his '96,'97,'98,'99, and '00 stuff.... anything beyond that started going downhill... ferry has amazing sets from '99, '00, '01... and even a bit from '02... pvd... i dont know why... i always hated pvd... always... i never liked any sets from any years... i think hes a loser and his music sucks... but thats just me... hopefully pvd and tiesto can redeem themselves in my eyes in the next few weeks.... afterall... i never seen tiesto live so what right do i have to say he sux?.... i still dont like pvd... lol... he better impress me @ central park and spirit and lay down some new stuff.... i mean COME ON... a lot of you have to admit... both tiesto and pvd have been playing the same ch00nz not even for the past 6 months anymore... but its getting to be like the last year!!!! and tiesto's new TAW set from 05-15-04... wtf was that!? 3/4 of it was tunes armin dropped 5 months ago with schulz.... what a bunch of #@$$$$#$@#....
hmmmm thats just me.... i have much more respect for pioneers and people with original taste... even if i hate the music... at least i havent heard it hundreds of times before.... so bit by bit i'm gaining new found respect for techno (adam beyer, rush, and such), d'n'b', psy/goa, experimental, chill-out, and the like....
-again.. all just my opinion.... much of it is prejudice and incorrect... just my experience... don't hate ;)

| Marco V and Ferry are pretty much the only Djs that impressed me more than once this year so far. Marco V's set @ Space was insain and so was his set in Philly. Ferry was awesome @ Avalon, Ultra, and Space. Tiesto sucked ass @ Ultra but tore the roof off at Space. Armin was alright @ Roxy and his set @ Mansion sucked. PVD was awesome @ Ultra but didn't impress me @ Space at all. I guess what im trying to say is......all these big name have been so hit or miss.......except Marco and Ferry. |

I just deleted about 20 gigs of sets i dont listen to anymore........still got about 50 more on this pc.......about another 200 gigs on data cds;) |
