I used to do movie reviews and as a result, I got to meet some pretty kick ass people.
All of the following are people that I met at the Toronto Film Festival.
Tom Cruse - Very nice, even signed an autograph for me when they were allowed.
Dan Aykrod - My idol! He was nice enough to chat with me about a possible Ghostbusters 3, which now looks to be not happening
Danny Glover
Jennifer Lopez - After getting chased out of the Antz press conference by some psycho press lady that was trying to yell at me for getting Aykroyds autograph I bolted to a back staircase to get out of the hotel I was in. When I was going down Jennifer Lopez was being escorted by her security. She looked at me...said "hello there" I almost lost it! I said Hello back to her and then she left...ahh.

I was also able to meet James Cameron in Niagara Falls when his hometown celebrated his Titanic success.

yesterday I saw our future king and fiance (how you spell this.....??) in den Bosch, it was really crowded cause they were visiting our city

I shook hands with the Queen once. My class at primary school won 3rd prize in this nationwide art competition and the prize was sponsorship of an Elephant at London Zoo. So there was this big grand opening thing (I think it was a new elephant enclosure or something) and the Queen opened it. Then she presented the 1st 2nd & 3rd prizes to the heads of the schools and finally came down the line shaking hands with the students. I was 10 or 11.
I'm also a bit of a minor celeb. here in the UK because when I was 10 I did the advert for Earlybird...come on UK people you remember Earlybird yeah?....hmm well OK it was a bit and didn't last long. But I was on Channel 4 a few times each day for a couple of months. I was also on the program itself telling a joke.
Fame. Trust me kids it's not all it's cracked up to be.
[edit] Oh yeah my primary school class were also the first kids in the world to hear Esio Trot by Roald Dahl. He came and read the first copy of it to us. My old school headmaster lived next door to him and they were good friends. He also signed all my books for me (not all of them, just the ones he wrote).
Looking back out old headteacher was pretty sound. He always used to arrange like that for us. |

hmm..well I worked @ the westin Calgary for a summer...so I met quite a few, never really got to talk to any of them tho.

well i met paul mcartney ..i mean i didnt have a long ass conversation but i got to meet him in his old label company 'cause i was doing some internishp job back in 99.
i also met ginger from the spice girls...and she is the biggest bitch.
that all i can say.

Wynona Rider- met her
Tom Cruise and Nicloe Kidman- saw them riding a motorbike in Bondi Beach (AUS), and at the premiere of "Eyes Wide Shut" in Sydney |

I met the guys from staind -got asked to go backstage to "hang out with them.. i met their tour trailer bus.. it is awesome.. its all velvet...And while i was backstage.. i met Mike.. from linkin park.
i was just in key west about a month and half ago.. and i met mandy moore.. she is so sweet! i met jay hernandez from that movie (crazy/beautiful)and ahston kutcher one of the dudes from (dude wheres my car)
i met a lot of brazilian soccer players cause i was really into soccer.
i 've met ayrton senna (formula 1 racer) and rubens barrichelo, emerson fittipaldi.
well these are the people i actually had some kinda of conversation adn exchanged phone numbers.. hahahha

but i did converse with them for a while.
