off topic advice in the DC Metro area

| Well being new to the area and my friends are coming to visit me from houston on tues - sun. i want to reserve one day and take them to the beach. i found sites of beaches in VA but there are too many to choose from. can someone plz recommend a nice, must see, popular beach? I dont mind driving 2 hrs to a nice beach either. Cause anything is better than the oil spills waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Thanks! |

there is virginia beach ... which is OK...
than there's Ocean City, md which is like 3 1/2 hours away, but it's a lot more fun than va beach... more touristy also... none of the beaches are there are spectacular mind you ... :) |
