Question regarding sports memorabilia.

I have this jersey that I want to sell, and I just don't know what is an appropriate asking price. I've heard lots of conflicting opinions already, so a few more can't hurt.
What it is:
Dallas Stars Official Jersey
Eddie Belfour #20
I guess I got it 4 or so years ago. It has been worn maybe once or twice. It's just been hanging in my closet.
The ex gave it to me, along with some other items I'm getting rid of because: I don't want them, and I'm getting rid of alot of my "junk", and any money I make off this will go to my ChiTown FUN fund.
I have pics.
Any opinions? |

I was gonna repeat the same thing over and over...that might get old..
the things with this stuff is exploiting setimental value, its worth different things to different people, I wouldn't trade ya for toilet paper, but I am sure some belfour fans would. although it s a relatively recent jersey...so don't expect too much.
check out ebay for similar items, see if they are selling and if they have bids...
thats all I got....Belfour blows. |

There is no sentimental value to the item, so I'm not trying to use that to kick up the price. He bought it, I had it, I don't want it, I'm getting rid of crap and all the money I get is for CHI!
I've got tons of stuff, as I have a hard time throwing ANYTHING away.
ANYWAY- thanks for your advice... I guess my real question would be: Due to the fact that Eddie is no longer a Dallas Star, would that be better, or worse for me, in regards to the pricing?
Some said it would be worth more.. some just didn't know.
At the time of purchase, at the game, it was like $145 or something. I've seen a couple of jerseys on ebay... same style, etc. with a starting bid of $50 or so.
That's where the question of him not being on the team.
