this is my first time seeing the new renovations at the docks.. simply amazing.. the sound is loud! the environment is great and i think the whole idea of having a godskitchen in toronto is awesome haha
great to see a bunch of you out there tonight
The dj before george acosta wasnt soo great.. but she was playing some very nice tracks..
George acosta played a fairly good set.. very hard towards alot of the points.. not very epic trancey as i would have expected.
but overall i think it was a great time

Awww...I didn't go to this tonite but I'll be there tomorrow.
I went to Systems instead and it wasn't bad at all..I had lots of fun & Enjoyed my b-day to the max!!! :D

wow ... those girls are really hot. it was funny how all the guys were trying to hit on the blond girl with the red bra. and the topless one ... haha.
i found the sound system to be hit or miss depending on where you were standing. wasn't a bad night, but it could of used a lot more people. |

| what party were you guys at the was the worst party ever there was about 30 people on the floor, the setup was good but thats about it, a refund would have been fantastic |

| Too true the night needs to be promoted much more heavily than it was for the opening night. The night has potential - there is no doubt of that. Fact is, with a name like Godskitchen, there's no reason the place can't be packed. Granted, it will take some of the bigger names from the Godskitchen roster to really start pulling people in but the renovations thus far are looking good, the sound system has potential but I think they're still tweaking it - so expect it to get better. The hardware they have in there is sick. There's a glass room above one of the bars with racks of amps - crazy. DJ booth looks cool perched up above the dancefloor and the stage has been freed up for the strip...uh I mean Godskitchen Angel Dancers ;) Godskitchen logo was everywhere, they even did a cool vocal intro to the night and they were tossing out shirts. Manzone & Strong laid down some great beats, DJ Playboy Bunny turned DJ sucked and Acosta was amazing - some really amazing trance tunes in his set. Too bad not more TAs out as you guys would have loved his set. Anyway good seeing RJ (leading the cheering in the place) and the other TAs that were out. Looking forward to Gielen later next month. |
