Hey, will post more when I get back....going out.

Saw him @ Sweetchilli on Friday for his 3 hour set. He didn't play many of his productions (whateveritis is all I picked). His set was generally really thumping, bordering on techno for a good hour, then hitting techno. He played a bit of breaks which I thought is when he'd take it melodic, instead he went back to the relentless hard tribally beats....His encore was quite melodic and the only bit I liked.

Quiet a few times I thought about going home; was just too hard for my enjoyment. It suited the SC crowd down to a T tho.

I was expecting a bit of thumping stuff, but not 3 hours.

Other annoyance was his encore was part of his set...instead of playing over time, he finished 20 mins early and played that as his encore.

Oh don't expect him to smile either, he's taking notes from Chable :p

so maybe i would have like him then?

oh shut the up you dip..

go back to voting for room 19 like the rest of your perth buddies and leave the music to people with a clue wit
Teknoscaper.
saying Fortier is still stuck in 2000 is ing moronic

consider this:

He's basically playing everything on the current Balance Record Pool charts.

Where's the dark mindless Zero Tolerance '2000' style prog fodder?

You're an idiot Tiesto lover.

I was there for bout 2 out of his 3 hours. Basically thought it was a pretty dark and intense sound he was playing. Not really that groovy, and though I do like the stuff he was playing, it's not the best stuff to play non stop in a club as it's not the best music to dance to... Mixing and technical abilities were spot on though, he was tight as.

well, im still very much looking forward to it :)

i cant really take opinions from these boards seriously anymore, most people are so close-trance-minded.

i mean, you have Zabiela coming to melb, and nearly all of you are seeing Scott Bond / whatever else @ Slinky....

I know a lot of ppl do go and see prog events, but the majorty of ppl on here, so single minded about music.....

Stipsy, i dont get why u, in ure posistion of being so amongst the scene, make stupid comments all the time....

Why dont u tell the ing trance DJs its not 2000 anymore

u really are a twat...what makes u think id go see bond over zabiela..maybe u should read my previous post on that topic from about a month ago...im allowed to an opinion..i saw the destruction of the progressive sound from music which didnt progress anywhere in 2000-2001..fortiers is so similar to this era...(woopee he played peter lazonby-scared cycles)
im not going to even bother going into further debate on this one as everyone is entitled to their own opinion but a dip like technoscoper who was 15 at the time cant sit here and criticise me for an era where i was actually in the clubs and seeing what was going on whilst he was playing super nintendo.
u dont even in know me so how do u know what music i appreciate?? i dont give a what position i have amongst the scene ( i wasnt even aware i had a position in the scene anymore )

in conclusion.. you :)
