Meanwhile I knew nothing about electronic music. My friend tried to get me into house. I was listening to it for a little while. You know the usual stuff: Paul Johnson, Moloko, Daft Punk, Roger Sanchez, etc...
Then I discovered trance. "System F - Out of the Blue" about did it for me. And then it was Tiesto and now I'm so into Ferry Corsten. Oh, the happy days... |

When I was younger and had to get into all these all ages hip hop clubs and all I was jammin' to was stuff like "Snow - Informer" :D
"Maestro Fresh Wes- Let Your Backbone Slide" (oh god, those were the days:D !!) and then one fateful day, one DJ dropped........Robert Miles - Children......me and all my hip hop and RnB buddies were like
WTF!!!!!!!!!! :eyes: From then on, we've never loooked back. I'd probably still be listening to crap like Eminem, D-12, Exzhibit or other junk if it wasn't for that one tune. But I shouldn't knock hip hop because I use to LIVE off that stuff, now I can't stand it.
My fave trance tunes ever and tunes that had the biggest impact on me will always be

these are the ones that made the first trance breakthroughs on the radio down here.... kinda caught on, but got old quick....
These songs came out about the time I really got hooked on trance: 9pm till I come, Sandstorm and Zombie Nation. And they got old quick on the club scene from being overplayed. But they are still being played; I heard Zombie Nation the other day being played as background music at a baseball game(like Macarena a few years ago being played at every baseball game...please don't make this another macarena.) and I heard Sandstorm on a commercial radio station playing it like it just came out...It probably is new to the commercial crowd, but absolutely worn out to the Trance crowd.
