OK, so I'm gonna be using the name Convergence for some productions... really just the ones that I feel the name goes better with. Just so you know it's me...

So anyway, I've made a new tune now, Nothing Lasts Forever.

LINK HERE

I think it's a big improvement on my last track, production-wise I feel it's coming together more smoothly. It's a chilled, melodic track, something quite smooth and relaxing. 137 bpm, made in Reason 2.5

Thanks to Massive for the help, mostly with the mixing, and for the kickdrum :)

I like the way the strings that come in at 1:25, and the song comes together really well at about 4:30. The different melodies go well together.

Needs more dynamics! Even for a chilled tune I reckon it could do with some more dynamics ( not compressors etc., i mean excitement + contrast in the arrangement ). Some more layers of percussion would be nice too :) Overall the tune lacks some complexity.

Nice clean production, all of the synths + drums are nice and clear, no mud. I listened to your other tune, "roll up" on your website, and the production in Nothing Lasts Forever blows your last tune away.

Keep it up bro!

i agree, for his second production this is very impressive.

i really like this tune tbh, , the melody and strings are quite catchy.

at 2.48 it the perc and bass stop to sudden, try to avoid such things.

seriously good job :)

This is good stuff, guy. Usually, Reason songs sound too "Reasony" but that's not your case. Very enjoyable track...I like it a lot. :)

I usually don't point out what needs to be changed if I find the track attractive and pleasant to hear as is; this one falls in that category. Good job there. :)
