Is he the guy under the guise of Sixty4Eight (or however you say it)? I find his work under his own name much more impressive than his collabs with Midor.

Eelke Kleijn tunes I've heard so far are 4.5 Billion Years and Knowledge Base, both class. Any other tunes by him worth checking out?

Yeah, that's Six4Eight.

He is also a member here at tranceaddict...

well, can't really compare whats he has done alone with the colab with Midor, since that is trance productions. (tho they've start making more progressive tunes under a dif. guise)

But i totally agree with HiGH_NrG about his own work!! it totally owns both the tunes you mention! He also got a new tune called 'Travelling' but haven't got the chance to hear it yet.. bet it's awesome as well!!

btw, be sure to check out his regular sets both on Tranceairwaves and BasicBeats radio. They're always awesome!

Thumbs up for this upcoming dj and artist! :)

I totally agree with HiGH_NrG too.

Yep thats six4eight. His productions are just as amazing as his personality. I've chatted with him via email several times and I can say he is such a super nice guy and very down to earth. Its great to see people like Eelke with his talent and personality doing so well.

Not familiar with Eelke Kleijn... yet... but good to hear that he's a nice guy -- those are the sort of artists I'm into myself, who are wicked producers and really nice human beings! Maybe they even like to save cats from trees and help old ladies cross the street :D

Thanks for all the positive comments people, really appreciate it!

I don't have any outtakes of 'Travelling' yet, but those will follow shortly. I do have some samples online of my new release on Segment Records entitled 'Deeper Depths / Knowledge Breaks', of which the last one is a remake of my earlier 'Knowledge Base'.

- Deeper Depths
- Knowledge Breaks

And there are a few more singles with M.I.D.O.R. planned for release, but also as 'Eelke Kleijn & Rutger van Bostelen' which will be more in my sound :)

bump :)

I've just recently stumbled upon Eelke's solo progressive works and i'm simply amazed at his talent. Knowledge Base, Travelling and his remix of Latigidi are top notch stuff which is exactly the style of trance i'm looking for. He's also a very good DJ as well.

Anywho, just wanted to show my appreciation for him and his work. Let's hope he starts to get a little more recongnition :)

Phortastic
His Latigidi - Latigidi remix is also very good !
