Dating a co-worker? There is this girl I work with. She and I seem to connect when we meet at work, however I do not know if she would be interested in getting together after work for drinks or something. I have never really asked.
There was one time when I did sort of ask her, but she said she "had to work late". Ever since then she seems to have kept her distance.
Going back to the original question, what are your thoughts on dating a co-worker? |

Uh... I'm kinda doing it now... ;)
I'm all for it as long as you can act normally in work. |

1- make sure your company doesn't have a no fraternizing policy.
2- why would you want to go out with someone that's avoiding you?
3- if she says no, will this affect your attitude/ behavior at work?
Oh, and hit it if you can. Office sex rocks.
Edit: that last part was a joke. I wouldn't date someone I worked with. It's just not a good professional way to conduct yourself at your place of employment. It causes problems more often than not. |

just hit it, make a video tape, give it to your boss.
maybe he wants to hit it too.

i'm with starglider on this one. im pretty sure that was her way of saying she's not interested in you that way.
but do this - dont change your demeanor. stay the same way, make her laugh, and if you work together long enuff, she might just come around. it's happened to me, and it might happen to you too...you never know ;) |
