Richie, Magda & Matthew Dear were well worth the $40 last year for Mutek @ Metropolis..
I really dug the crowd there too, not your usual club fare. Oh and by the way, it was posted earlier that Richie is on Saturday.. I believe it's Friday.. fyi. |

I did go and I was SO ing disappointed by the visuals ( wich were: none )....:whip: :whip: :whip:
It was a bit too minimal for me but I enjoyed the music in a certain way. LOTS of tr-808
Maybe not worth 40 but Im glad I saw him |

that's sure,you dont pay 40$ to see visual,but Hear & See PLASTIKMAN...
The night was created to be minimal,its plastikman...he's style. The Richie Hawtin style is techno.
he played lots of tracks from "Closer" & all his classics with more punch...
my opinion, the night was totally crazy,the music was insane from plastikman & Andrew Weatherall. The Visual was very nice, ok,few visual but the show is concentrate on the performer more then the visual. The only thing i found ty,Hawtin left the stage without saying thanks or salute his crowd...and after the dj started to play minimal techno (sven vath or riccardo villalobos style). He was excellent,everybody was dancing,they opened all colour spots,it was like a big nightclub.
The crowd was mature,around 30y old,nice people.
i really enjoyed my evening, i was there from the beginning to the end. This 40$ really worth it for me. |

Cétait un Show! Pis yavait un écran ed up POUR METTRE DES CRISSES DIMAGES!!! Pis ca avait lair malade au début!!! Pis la tout a chié ctait tellement pas professionnel. Pis yétait pas si impressionant que ca...jsais pas si tu connais les machines qui utilise mais tsé ctait pas autant évolué que cque je pensais...Moi jai été un peu décu pis mes amis avec...Par contre, il sait crissement comment utilisé un tr-808;)
anyways ctait tres inspirant mais sans le visuel....ca vallait vraiment pas 40$ |
