That IS cool! that site is getting better and more popular all the time, like I remember when that site Wikipedia was just a blip on the radar but now I see it cited in lots of places. WordIQ it is then...!

Haha... Sasha bless whoever wrote this, I don't see an author credit but I am liking this definition. Sage to say "starting point"... ;)

There should at least be a mention of Tangerine Dream and other spacemusic of the era for the basis of the synth ostinatos which now form the hypnotic arpeggiated core of a lot of trance, IMO.

(Although I don't know what "semi-quantified" means?)
