Fellas...

There's Wire.fm, sound clik, garage band, and sonic garden to name a few.
Where is the best place to GET HEARD? Or is it just a waste of time?

Thanks.
RiCo
I have mine in Soundlick. It gets plenty of traffic. Good example: I only have one tune right now and it's always climbing the charts, then goes way down with no plays, then the next week it gets a lot of plays and I'm number 24 or something out of hundreds in the whole genre (trip-hop). :p

So yeah, it get's traffic. :)

all depends on the initial plays it receives.

once it gets a few and gets somewhere on the charts, it's will keep getting not only new, but old plays as well.

all about promotion though too to receive those first plays that could for the climb

I have always used soundclick. It was very reliable and I upgraded for a few months one time, and ppl started approaching me (ppl who havent got back to me but still ppl right?):D

I've been #1 at mp3.com when it was still good and where did it get me? Nowhere.

Don't believe the hype, people, there's so much gaming and just plain bribery on the charts that the whole idea is wasted.

Real life is where it happens, not some dodgy charts of a website nobody has ever heard of.

Mystery...I wasn't looking to get signed or nothin' (sh'yea right:stongue:, okay well..not solely!)

Just a good place with lots of traffic and guys like myself checkin out serious tunes from other contributors and what-not.;)

So thats two for SOUNDCLICK!! interesting...I was looking at WIRE.fm and it looked pretty good!

Nice list there but its http://www.vitaminic.com d00d :)

Free hosting without the bllx :)
Digital Aura
k i fixed that.

Do you use 'em? Or you just recommending them?
/I\
Yep, been using them after I fell out with mp3.com. The customer support on vitaminic is so much better than what mp3.com could ever be. You can even hot link your MP3s and even charge peeps to download your music.
Digital Aura

What is that? Kinda like the artist formerly know as Prince's sign?

Mr. Mystery, what was your artist name on mp3.com that got you #1?

Anyway, I personally use audiostreet.net and since I was one of 25 beta testers I get a free platinum account (up to 99 uploaded songs), whee. Probably not as much traffic as the other stuff you guys have, but hey, free audio hosting that works fine. (in the same style mp3.com once was)
