I do like the orchestral part though it sounds like it really belongs in a Hans Zimmer score. The rest of it is just okay. It's not horrible but definitely not my favorite.

so...

it's umm..

better than Nyana I guess. heh.

Too bad Tiesto didn't write those glorious melodies you're talking about. Geert did all the work there.
Luke Terry

it's good, but it's also terminator :p

I *really* like Forever Today... the 3:15 intro bit is brilliant, although the rest of the tune isn't as good.

I can imagining it sucking it a club though - just not the place for it.

So what songs on the album did Geert compose then? And did he do Magik Journey from IMM?

DJ Tiesto - Just Be

(1) Forever Today - Co-produced by Geert Huinink
(2) Love Comes Again - written and composed by Tiesto & BT
(3) Traffic - produced by Tiësto, Sample taken from the track "Psykofuk" by Sean Deason
(4) Sweet Misery - co-written by Jo Lloyd and Dan Muckala
(5) Nyana - produced by Tiesto (i assume, couldn't find any info)
(6) UR - produced by Tiesto
(7) Walking On clouds - co-produced/written by Josh Gabriel
(8) A Tear In The Open - Produced by Tiesto
(9) Just Be - "haunting vocals from co-writer Kirsty Hawkshaw"
(10) Adagio For Strings - the melody was obviously written by Samuel Barber

Information taken from www.discogs.com and DJ Tiesto/Black Hole newsletter

Anyone have any more info or corrections???

I like Sweet Mysery better than Just Be.

how can you compare 2 completely differant tracks from 2 completely differant times... thats like comparing the beatles to the rolling stones... maybe they were both amazing in there time but they were in no way alike... stop living in the past...

Well, for one, both use the same beginning structure, and both were done by Geert.

I think it's a pretty cool track! but i just don't get the first 3:15 of it. why put that in there? It should have been a different track by itself [much like Prodemium and Precious on AvB's "76"].

other than that, i think it's pretty cool. i don't know if I'd call it an "epic" track, but cool enough. hope he plays it in Chicago!!
Fuegan
I like it. It should (really) have been split into two tracks because the two 'halves' don't really relate to each other coherently but nevertheless, a respectable effort.
