For me, it has been a surprise. I was 100% sure that the next year Rafa Benitez will go away from Valencia, but this year???
He had a lot of problems with the managers of Valencia, and sure that this is the cause why he leaves the best team in Spain nowadays.
Liverpool fans should be patient with him, probably the next season they won't see good results, but he probably build a good team in 1 or 2 years. |

heard Valencia were in debt, and thats one of the reasons he has left.
He managed a La Liga championship & the UEFA cup under those difficult circumstances. Not bad :) |

if hes going to liverpool it wont be annouced until 2 weeks.
i will be patient i have no doubt about benitez's quality.
2 la liga in 3 years isnt bad.
just hope hes able to bring 2-3 quality players this season. |

| if he bought Baraja or Albelda and Vicente with him, liverpool would flourish imo |

| I'm surprised he's left Valencia, things with the board must have been pretty serious. From watching Valencia his tactics seem similar to Houllier's, defensively organised and looking to win by the odd goal, except he makes it work. He's just had a fantastic season with Valencia, but I wouldn't be too patient with him, he's now searching for his 6th club in 9 years. |
