Taking pictures at the clubs (pg. 3)

Well being a guilty pic taker at a club I do want to tell my side of the story and like most responsible picture taker I do ask before I take pics and on a few occasions the peeps I take pics of have asked that I keep them of the internet and of course their requests are granted, but I love taking my camera to the club the captured memories are classic :D

| well i would of thought that was a REALLY stupid comment, But on sunday at Club Bleu watching deep dish, some guy was standing up there and taking picture after picture he must of taken like 30 in a row. It started to get really annoying the flash was sooo bright. he did it a lot through out the night....it didn't bother me too much because i like seeing the pictures after :) |

If light flashes are annoying.. why are people at a club where there is nothing but flashing lights, lasers, noise, people, etc.
I have come to the conclusion that EVERYTHING in this world bothers somebody and the difference now is that the people who make the laws are trying to please everybody including the unreasonable whiners. |

remind me to directly point the flash at your face if we see each other... i did it to myelf by mistake two or three times and its blinding!!!
I always point the flash to the ceiling and put it to 1/4 or 1/2 its full power. |

LOL!!! Yeah, I see dead people when I drink bottled water.
I love taking pictures and now that I finally have a digital camera, I'm even more excited to take pictures at parties. If it's the flash of light that's the issue, then I say stop bringing glowsticks :haha: |

I know for a fact taht u can only take pics of a person with their permission in a public place. Apparently theres also a bill that was passed not too long ago that made it so. which is a good thing.
as an amatuer party fotographer, i make sure to respect this law which makes total sense.
oh and did anyone else notice how mecha hasnt responded after the start of the thread?
i think he was dared to do so.....;) |

i've taken my share of pics in the clubs and i usually make a point of asking people if they don't mind their pic taken...unless of course it's a wide crowd shot where individuals are not the focal point....i can see where some people might be annoyed by having their picture taken however my experience is that most people tend to ham it up for the camera and even come up and request pics and ask to have them e-mailed to them....
i hardly see camera's in clubs as much of an issue....and malek, those of us with the cheaper camera's can't point our flashes at the ceiling;) but we can and should lower the flash, especially to capture the proper club atmosphere:) |

| They should ban light shows. Actually ban ppl giving light show without glowsticks....I've seen it. Sketchiest moment in guv history....girl giving five ppl crouched down a finger light show. #2 was at Aria, girl getting light show from floor light.....she was on her knees with her face right up to the light. Funny as , don't ban her. She had a cute ass. |
