i doubt it but i thought i would see if anyone knows for sure...
my friends sister just got an old vestax mixer given to her for real cheap and she wants to spin hip hop. is there any way to install a crossfader curve adjustment or a new crossfader that has some sort of curve adjustment? it only fades in slowly and she wants it to cut right in for scratching...
or is there even a crossfader that would be designed for scratching that could be installed into the vestax mixer?
again... i doubt it but i am not 100% sure so does anyone know? |

| dont think you can do that but the best thing to do would be to contact the maker of the mixer and ask em, thell be the ones that are the most knowlegable about it |

| That would require some rewiring and circuitry done there man. Since its an old mixer anyways just see what u can do nothing to lose. Call Vestax first. |

^^ yeh il try to contact em... the model its pmc 17a. i have been told that you can replace the xfader with one that has a fixed curve for scratching... which would be just as good seeing as its only gonna be used for scratching...
would anyone know where i could find a xfader with a set or fixed curve for this model? |
