Caater ft Trinity - Endless Summer

Is this like bubblegum to you folks? I kinda like it even though it's dance instead of trance.

i like caater , hes very good producer :) :eyespop:
GrimReaper
I like only 1 Caater track, their remake of OT Quartet's old classic, Hold That Sucker Down. It's decent. Everything else they've done is more or less poo IMO.

i'm ashamed of caater. they're estonians.

hehe back in 1997-1998 they were THE in estonia :D I mean I listened to them all the time and I still like the tracks they used to produce back then (eighty degrees, i want u, club anthem, hold that sucker down, i cant hear U)

nowadays they've lost last sense of originality in their music & have taken the sleazy road: making radio-cheese to make lots of cash.

I know one producer behind caater very well and I actually think that he will become quite big in the future (the guy is only 17 and he can practically make justabout any sound he wants on synthesizers) I will just have to whine at him on msn so that he would stop producing and start doin' smthn good :D

at least half of the stuff they've "produced" are total and direct rip offs from well known edm tunes! so blah! they've got some decentish stuff there though, but i can't be sure they made it themselves. most of their tracks are pure cheese though, but they did get me into edm, so i'll always be grateful for that! and some cheese every now and then doesn't hurt anyone (except lame purists). but overall i don't like them!

I didn't realise we had this many estonians on TA. :p
djthunderbird
come to think about that. Swamper even had one track by caater in the mp3 section of tranceaddict back in the day.. I think it was "alien being (coobalt remix)" So I'd have to say that caater is well on the map :p

about their originality.. I agree with skip that they never did have their own distinct sound nor were their tunes proffessional sounding, but they were one of the influences that got me into EDM. I remember when I bought their first CASSETTE (:P) and put it into my player I knew from the first sound I heard that I loved it :)

Caater may have been dull, boring, or cheesy at times, however, their remake of Depeche Mode's Enjoy the Silence is phenomanal.
