I guess I should have waited til all of our active TXTAs have realised we have our own forum... I think I'll extend the 10 day poll to something longer. How long do you guys think the poll should go for? 21 days perhaps?
edit: lmao I can't change the 10 day time period of the poll, we'd need a mod to do it which we don't have. Doesn't matter. |

Please take into consideration that with becoming mod comes responsibilities to be active, just and helpful. Think of someone you think would be a suitable moderator, not just yourself for the sake of winning.

well he isn't in the poll, which is unfair for him, but on the contrary if he wasn't active or interested enough to get a TXTA member # (I just put all the members in the poll) then what kind of mod would he make?? |

No offense to you Brent or your friend DJCubano, but IMHO only those who registered a TX TA # should have a Mod Nod. If it wasnt for them then we wouldnt have a forum in the first place. Someone who didnt even bother to register for a number doesnt seem like a fit choice for a Mod to me.
Please try to take this seriously. We need someone who is active and displays leadership qualities. Someone who will treat others fairly and with respect etc etc. So please think about who you are voting for. :) |

i would also vote for Dave too,...
i vote for people that i see post frequently,...DJCubano is in Dallas and is hugely in the scene in Texas,.. ive done many many things in Dallas,.. Houston is just too far for me....
and also no offense to the numbering system but not everybody wants a number
the people from Texas that i see post the most in the threads i look at are DJCubano and DaveSZ... my reasons why i choose them... |

No offense to you but maybe you see more of their posts cause DaveSZ is active in the "California plus Boomer and Whiskers thread" and you see more of DjCubano because he posts often in the FLTA forums. Both of which you also frequent. They weren't ACTIVE when we were meeting up in the Party/Rave Info, Pictures & Reviews forum. Dave has posted here a couple of times but thats it and so far I havent seen the other guy post anywhere at all. Just to clarify this isnt a personal attack against anybody.
My point is why would they make good MODS ??? They didnt even post up when we where trying to get this forum. Granted DaveSZ got the ball moving. But who got it done? Granted that Cubano guy does some stuff on that Dallas web site (I forget the name). But we need someone who is going to be DEDICATED TO TA.
PS Dont knock the effort here man if it wasnt for that numbering system this wouldnt be here. NUFF SAID |
