Welcome to Texas, which is about as different as you can get from Canada and still be on the same continental plate! :D
Others would disagree, but the scene in Texas is alive and well (of course, "the scene" has a flexible translation, so take this for what it's worth; customer satisfaction may vary) and actually fairly explosive. Four major cities with multiple clubs within a six-hour radius of each other bring in a very decent rotation of big-name talent through here pretty much year-round, and the local talent is nothing to sneeze at either. Folks from other locales like to gripe, but there isn't an area in the United States outside of the coasts that draws more talent than Texas and the Southwest.
A quick browse of our quaint forum will familiarize you with some of the local native wildlife and their feeding habits, usually amounting to gnawing on each other for sport. Do not be alarmed by this; for all the posturing, accusations of sexual deviancy and indifferent genetic lineages, hatemongering, drunken posting, trolling (usually the tourists are the ones who do that), EDM elitism, parole violations, and chinchilla smuggling, we're all one big apolitical, reasonably happy family of casual associates. . .and Dirk.
In a moment, Rememberence (aka James Packer, who is Australian but don't let that offend you) will probably drop in and grant you a TXTA number, which can be inserted into your location setting if you so desire. There are several Houstonians who will also probably be glad to make your acquaintance, and perhaps coordinate a link-up or two to help familiarize you with the area, or perhaps join you on an adventure to another Texas city, because they are all different and have their own atmospheres. Most of them won't try and chloroform/shoot/bludgeon/knife you for your gold, rings, chains, jewels, grill, wallet, cash, crack rocks, smoke, bud, keys, woman, shoes, green card, or virginity.
Stick around, post as you will, drop by often, and enjoy your stay. See you at a gig sometime, I'm sure. :D |

Thats great man. Well thanks all houstonites for the warm welcome that are just as hardcore of an edm fan as me. I am glad to join all the TA's in houston out there at Paul Van Dyke. If you guys ever have open tables sometime or some mix down goin on I would love to join in and truely represent tranceaddict origins (Canada).
Cheers |

Good point. Everyone, quit work and get to Ferry Corsten in SA on the 6th of October, or put out one of your eyes with your own car keys. :eyes: |

Welcome! Although you're txta#139 there definitely ain't 139 people who post in here... just be loud and retarded and you'll fit right in. There's pretty much always event postings in here if something's going on in SA, Hoe-ston, Austin or Dall-arse. Beware of the queers. |
