The World is Watching... Euro 2004 on TSN
TORONTO, June 2 /CNW/ - One of the biggest and most prestigious sporting
events in the world kicks up a storm on TSN from June 12 to July 4. It's Euro
2004, featuring the best soccer players from Europe representing their home
countries in a patriotic battle of will, skill and raw determination.
TSN has the broadcast rights to complete coverage of Euro 2004. TSN will
televise all 31 games from the tournament, including the quarter-finals,
semifinals and final. TSN will also televise 18 pre-game shows, 12 post-game
shows, the Euro 2004 Preview Show and Euro 2004 Road to Gold. TSN has made
arrangements for eight games to be televised live on FOX Sports World Canada.
TSN will air encore presentations of those eight games. (Please see below for
the complete Euro 2004 broadcast schedule.)
TSN soccer expert Vic Rauter anchors the network's Euro 2004 control show
from the TSN studio alongside veteran analyst and former professional
goalkeeper Dick Howard and analyst Carl Fletcher, a former Canadian
international player. The trio will bring viewers in-depth analysis,
commentary, features and profiles on players and teams throughout the
three-week tournament.
