Dunno if this is an old subject or not, but i just saw "Monster" with Charlize Theron. Wondering what others thought about it:D . I thought she did a phenominal job in it.

hey, what a coincidence !! I just saw it last night as well. Charlize's face was bugging the hell out of me.. from the freckles, to how she would laugh, to the look of her teeth when she would laugh, to the way she acted, walked, cussed, the movement of her eyes, her voice, how she brushed her hair, etc.I was disgusted and felt embrassed for her. It was superb !! That is EXACTLY how impacted I want to be by an actor/actress. As her stature of class, it amazes me how well she fit the role. Didn't she win an Academy Award for this role? The movie reminds me alot of Boys Dont Cry. Very umm... heartbreaking. Yet in the most degrading of moments, the best dry humor was used.. the "Daddy" calling situation was crazy.. I recall laughing my ass off, then crying :( I was rooting for her throughout the entire movie, despite her radical actions.

omg, i feel the same way. i was just absolutely grossed out by everything about her and i felt embarassed for her. the amount of little things that she did to further emphasize the personality of Aileen was amazing. that "daddy" scene was hilarious. haha. very well made film, and yeah she got best actress oscar for it. now i understand why!

Does'nt the soundtrack have a track by BT?

besides the obvious look sof charlize, what I found amazing was the steps the movie took in showing exactly how she could come to murder people.

She started with the guy who rpaed her and about killed her, then it was out of neccesity for money, then it just goes down hill and you get the real sense of how her man hating attitude forms.

Extremely good film. not at all for those people who like big explosions and thin plots.

Ive seen this movie when it was released and i really was impressed by it and especially by charlize she really plays good and then i've checked some infos about aileen wuornos and they look the same almost exactly ! when i came back from the theater i was pretty shocked i don't think i would like to watch again this movie ....1 time is enough i still got it in mind but the first scene with the guy she kills is just too horrible ...

Agreed. This is another one of those powerful films that is depressing as hell to watch. Great acting, very emotional, and shocking at times -- but it leaves you with a sinking feeling. Leaving Las Vegas did the same thing to me.

BT made the ENTIRE soundtrack.

I bought it the other day. Listened to the first three tracks in full. Skimmed through the rest. Came to the conclusion that this soundtrack should NOT be added to your BT collection. It is, in fact, a MOVIE soundtrack and not a soundtrack with any dance music on it. I'm not saying that it sucks, I'm just saying that you shouldn't expect this to be anything that you're accustomed to from BT.

Why the hell would they put a movie soundtrack on a movie? Why not dance music?

*sniff sniff* Is that sarcasm that I smell? Truth of the matter is that there HAS been dance music in a movie. Look at "The Fast and the Furious". BT has three tracks on one of the soundtracks for that movie.. And, at least, one of them was used in the actual movie.

The Peach
wow, didn't realize bt did the entire soundtrack. i dont know jack about soundtracks and who is on what, but that is cool. i was also impressed by christina ricci's acting.
