I heard he had a residency in Ibiza...is that true? |

I'd give Deko-ze my vote.
Quite versatile, energetic, and I've seen him stand up to the heavyweights.
Then again, it seems that Mark Oliver can do that too. (Just thinking of him after Marco V last June.) |

i do think that adam & jerome are still 2 of the best dj's! but i too have been surprised lately with the local talent....djs like aaron mossey, the new kid on the block GINO SCHRYER!
a lot of the local residents are soooooooooo blah! (sorry)
i mean anyone can stand there and beat match big records but being able to progam a stellar set using your records as building blocks, layering sounds, creating an energy/force amongst you & the dancefloor to the point where its magical.....well, only a handful of people can do that and that to me is what makes a solid dj... |

Mark hasn't left TO in 5 yrs to spin outside of Canada. My friend is "supose" to open for him and he was possibly taking a trip to Ibiza but i dont know bout residency.

yep, Toronto residents for sure...I agree with Orkidea too...and many TA DJs for sure, notably Alec Todd :D

this guy is the bomb... both as a dj and a producer.. he should be geting much more attention than he is, specially in the house scene.. he is a true music schizo.. if u check out his website www.dylandrazen.com ull see everything from deep house to hard techno. this guy's the man and has been one of my favorite djs for quite some time now. |

I Like alot of these ANSWERS...but I would have to agree Mostly with DEKO-ZE!!
SICK...spins like Carl, acts like CARL COX (energy when spinning and the fortitude to give it!!) and NATHAN BARATO!
I know he's house, but dood...this guy has some much talent it's sick!
As for Jimmy Van M....I will have to see as he is coming to the DOCKS this Friday!
I will come back on after and give my thoughts!
