Asking Tiesto a Question
View this Thread in Original format

So lets say I have the oppertunity to ask Tiesto a few Questions, what would they be?

My friend has a 1 hour sit down interview with him on the 11th at Aria and he asked for a few questions to ask. We are looking for intelligent ones, not ones like "so whats your favourite song". Thought provoking stuff. Post away

Wow...what a lucky gf...i'm so jealous...
I have a question for Tiesto.

With his insane schedule of traveling, producing, playing gigs, jetlag, and losing sleep he always looks healthy, upbeat, and full of energy...how does he keep up the crazy pace?

Another thing I've always wondered is what does he use to produce tracks - laptop and software wise :D

THANKS!!!!! :D

Id ask him how he can justify making 10s of thousands of dollars to play average sets. Id then ask "dont you think that for 10s of thousands of dollars that you should be doing something special like playing on 3 or 4 turntables all night, scratching, playing records with your feet or ANYTHING that would stand you out among the rest?"
Followed with the comment "just because youve produced a few good tunes doesnt make you a DJ"

(i feel a TA flame war coming on LOL)

For the record: RELAX these are my opinions... you are entitled to have your own...

If you have your opinion you shouldn't post it in this thread :toothless

Obviously this is for "relevant" and "positive" questions

I would not agree with you, trance is not that kind of EDM where u can play on 3-4 turntables, do lots of scratching, etc...
But you're right, DJ'ing is overrated right now ,but these times will be over soon I think .

I would ask this, what does he prefer, concentrating his energies at ing one girl a night, or spread it out for a threesomes? or foursomes? :p

p.s. bonus questins: does he reimburse the cover fee to the female fans he brings to his hotel room :disbelief

Two things:

- supply and demand
- Personal opinion of "average"

You forget what the purpose of a DJ is. To get people dancing. To entertain. He does that, and he does it well.

Its not DJing thats over rated. Its certain DJs who are.

If Tiesto came in and did all kinds of crazy things like say Jeff Mills or even Cox then the salary would be justified.
