Miss a big DJ spinning?
Well a few minutes ago I found out that Gielen was playing at a local club here in Dubai - UAE (middle east)... we rarely get such dj's so I really flucked up not going... There's like only 90 minutes left for the set and by the time I get there only 30 mins (maybe less cuz of the bouncers)... I swear I just want to kick myself in the nuts...
What do you guys do when you're in the same situation? |

I reckon you'd had kicked yourself in the nuts...if you HAD seen him. So I say, thank your stars you didn't. And hey...you saved the dough, too :D
No offence to anybody who likes Gielen (although that'd be a rarity ;)) |

| hehe maaaan it happend to me twice before actually this year and i got really pissed off. it was satoshi tommie & sultan. once cuz i was freakin sick (i had already paid the tickets), second time was cuz of my freakin gf had serious problems. (okay yeah love is nice and everything, but not to the extent of me not seeing sultan!!!!) |

I've been listening to trance for 4 years now, and, somehow, I've managed to miss Paul Van Dyk every single year :eyespop: And I guarentee you that, somehow, I'll manage to miss him again this year.
It's a bit heartbreaking, but you'll get over it...or if you're like me, you get used to it :tongue2 |

Missed Ferry Corsten cause I was underaged back then.
Missed Paul van Dyk because I refused to pay the outrageous sum for the tickets to hear a samey boring set.
Missed Judge Jules because... well... he's .
Missed Steve Helstrip coz I was broke. |

| was working in capetown in 02 and mrs tub joined me at the end of my work stay for holiday the same day tiesto way playing. Missed it cos we both had rotten flu. To make things worse, the next morning at breakfast in the B&B we had to listen to someone talk about how they "thaw tiethto latht night". |

Missed Ferry because financial situation was very tight so it was either that or some new vinyls.
Missed Armin... well , I don't even wanna talk about it...
Missed Tiesto because I couldn't afford to take a day off.
Missed Paul van Dyk because yet again I had to work. |

Aaaaaaaa, alright , how about this
I saw that jackass trying to put cheapass welfare oil in my car when I went to get it fixed up by that Chinese food buffet that sells the dead kitten mash mix, so I jumped out of my car and was going to cram his head under my hood and slam the trunk shut over and over until his brains squirted across the room and burst through the wall, but I got tangled up in the ing air hose on the ground and I fell down and hit some barrels and and then I think I saw somebody trying to steal my car before the fumes made me puke so much that I got it under my eyelids and felt like the time I was inside that building when they tried to demolish it with explosives and I had to escape through the sewers where all the needles and armadillos were. |
