I just heard from a good friend that the legendary Dorian Gray in Frankfurt closed it's doors. Can this really be true??? This club was the starting point for almost all techno (IMHO) and the music from Sven Vath, Marc Spoon, and DJ Dag were among the first I ever heard and therefore the music that hooked me into loving trance forever....
Does anybody know if this is true? It would be distressing to go back to Frankfurt and not be able to go to the Dorian Gray. Are there any other clubs in Frankfurt that are as cool? I only visited twice and the Dorian Gray was the one I went to all the time. Only then did I become aware of it's legendary status....that was like 5 years ago.
I think it is a shame if this closing story is really true... what do you all think???

| Yes this is really true Man !! Dorian Gray closed the doors because they had problems with the Security System in the CLub. So the Amount to pay was too high and they decided to give it up ! Sad but true...I know that they are looking for new places around Frankfurt where they can build a New Club. Maybe go to http://www.talla.de (Talla 2XLC Page) and look there for Infos or Linkw concerning this Topic. |
