Cubase latency with Audiophile 2496

| hi, i just got me a audiophile 2496 sound card to stop getting latency from synths in cubase sx2. problem is, im still getting latency, like a few seconds at least. im not sure why this is as i dont get lantancy with fruity loops. i havent done anything other then install it and im not too good with cubase. well ive only just started and i was messing with the vanguard synth. so do i have to configure it in a certain to stop latancy? or have i just done something wrong? sory if this has been asked b4, i have no idea what im talking about really. just dont want latency. thanks in advance. |

use the ASIO driver in cubase.. you can set it under the devices settings -> VST Multitrack..

| Chances are you probably haven't told Cubase to use the new sound card yet. As said above, devices, device settings, VST Mulittrack, set driver to Delta ASIO. |
