View this Thread in Original format dukes right ive just waisted so many hours of my life recording sets and *ahem* streamed sets only to find total recorder is ing things up!!! i set up the volume and its all fine and i go off to mix. when i finish i save and listen. like every one does. BUT.... it records at a proper level for like 20 seconds then for no reason it decides to double the recording volume hence instantly clipping so baddly its barely audable!!! what is going wrong :( i only wanted to use this coz soundforge only lets me record for 3hr20mins and i want to do much longer. Tranc3 I've never used the program, but it sounds like a driver error. I bet the buffer time is 20 seconds, might try checking that. Edit: It's late and I just realized the buffers might not be related to this. It wouldn't make sense to buffer something that isn't there yet, but then again it could be set up as a space reserver on the hard drive...no idea. I can think better when I'm not so tired. Dirk W.
