Okey, a guy i know owns a Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speaker set (review) in 2/3 months he's going out of the country for a year, so he's selling most his stuff. incl his speaker set. for me, 120. (new price is 190 plus shipping) there basicly new now, mayby a week old, he still has the boxes n stuff. well, to get to the point. at this moment its still pleasure over producing and i don't have/want to spend more money at this curent time.
should i buy them? websites i should check out? (sticky's? i should check out :p) other products i should consider.

| well they're hardly proffesional monitors.. but you're better off producing on those than the $15 speakers that may of come with your computer.. |

total wank speakers :D got my stereo (sony rxd3) attached to my pc now, with the speakers that came with that (*/me hides in shame)
i was slowly looking in to speakers/monitors allready cuz this is totally wank. now this offer came on my path so thats why i'm asking now
i hear/read great things about these speakers all over but not in a way related to producing, which is as a said before, not the main use of my computer but it is something i enjoy doing and there for i'd like to include that in my consideration.

I'd say go for it... you aren't going to get quality monitors at that price, so these obviously will be better than what you have. You could always ebay them if they don't work out.. and make a profit ;) :D.

| The price is good but to help you out, I gotta tell you that those Klipsch don't sound that good. I bought some Logitech Z560, loved them but returned them to buy the Promedia 4.1. I returned them the same day and bought the Logitechs again. Yeah, the brand Logitech is not wow but those speakers knock the Klipsch out of the water. And now you can get them for $200 or less. :) |

120 new here :o i did looked in to that a bit but not serious cuz there 4.1, i wanted to go for 2.1, due to the shape of my room that seems the best option, i;ll get a drawing up as soon as i'm back from school. mayby i overlooked some posibillity i dunno. but thanks allreayd :) |

as you can see, my room shape is a bit eh.. alternative :D surround speakers are a bit complicated for this room |
