I guess the fact that Sasha remixed/edited all the tracks to his liking is an advantage. However, the sound of Involver is so original and has lots of new sounds to offer to the listener. ASOT 2004 just sounds like a typical ASOT episode that took no effort except for a regular mixing of the tracks. |

wait 2 years and tell me how good it is. Imo Sasha gets lost in the cd, lots of upps and downs, no real direction. Very ambient/Breaks reminds me off ADD to an extent. Im sure all the sasha whores will make this a bigger deal then it is but whatever. Its definately chillout, if your looking for somethin clubby this isn't it. The best tracks are the first one and the last, everything in the middle is bleh. 7/10 |
Becuase PVD has sooooooooooo much direction in his sets....... You really crack me up sometimes...... Like you would really know the differnce between a good house set and a bad...... Im not saying this becuase you like pvd, but for the reason that you do not know enough about the house scene as you are into trance which i can understand cuzz i prolly know about a good trance set... well new stuff anyway.... TO each his own i suppose.... |

What the did you just say? You make no sence at all. Maby you should grow up? What is the point of your post? To say PVD has no direction, or that I don't listen to house music enough to know what is good or bad? What has involver have to do anything with house music? Just because Paul is my favorite DJ doesnt mean that i havn't listened to a lot of prog/house releases the past few years? I think ive seen twice as many prog/house djs, then trance djs. You havn't even heard the album, so why don't you save us all from your complaining? |

Ideally, at least 20 tracks per CD would be nice for me...Playing tracks end to end != DJing. Unfortunately it's hard to find such a thing nowadays. |

That's because he used some tracks as a cross-over from one to the next. I think he did this very well.
He didn't pay attention to the length of a song, but more to the compilation as a whole. More dj's should do this instead of making the same old, 12 songs per cd, 6-7 minutes per song. |
