Dont know if this has been posted before...
Anyway, I came across a lot of auctions on ebay that direct you to some certain website which basically let you pay some amount say, £25 to go on some kind of a waiting list for products such as Technics Mk5, IPod, Pioneer cdj1000 and blah blah. and when ur on the top of the list u'll get the product u want with no additional cost. not sure if this is how it works though.
These offers just seem too good to be true! just really curious that did it actually work for anyone? is it really possible? or are they complete scammers? |

| yes, they make you wait 30 days, and after that, ebay can't do anything. and then you're screwd. |

i know one of the links where they direct you too (if they are legit about the site). here is the catch, it works like this:
1.) you buy an "e-book" or something and get put in a "waiting list" for your product (technics) for free. This way they are selling ebooks and legally bypassing money pyramids and like that.
2.) You wait FOREVER until your name cycles to the top of the list. They tell you how many people it takes to cycle someone, usually its like 10 people. When you get to the top, then you get your product. It cycles like so:
1] Bob
2] Jane
3] Jill
4] etc ...
10] Jack
Once the 10th person, Jack, is reached, person #1, Bob, gets his turntable. Next up, Jane goes to #1. Now because the first 10 people payed for Bob's technics, Jane has to wait for users 11-20 to sign up, they pay for hers:
1] Jane
2] Jill
3] etc ...
20] Joe
when Joe signs up at #20, Jane gets her technics. You can see how this increases VERY quickly at an exponential rate so if you aren't in the first 5 or so positions you are gunna be waiting a long time to get your product. I saw this on a website my buddy told me to check out they offered to get put in the list for a Pioneer DJM for $75. The list was at like #11 so i'd have to wait for 120 people to sign up before getting mine. I mean if you don't mind waiting 5 years and you think they'll still be around by then it MIGHT be worth it. This is assuming htey are legit in the first place! |

| This is a classic pyramid scheme. |

| It amuses me that people think, even for a minute, that this could possibly be legit. |
