I dunno who can beat this, but 2 weeks ago, I had a decent crowd, who I managed to keep uplifted for about 35 minutes. I wos 40 or so beats in between 2 buildups when I lost my vision thanx to a pair of pink panties landing on my face. The immidiate fright made me lift my hands to my head which then knocked my phones off. They subsequently went glinding downwards right onto the left vinyl. what a f&&%k up. I stopped everything, and after a few seconds realised that I would never figure out who did it through the lights and smoke. Some dancers were pissed that someone could this, but those who had not seen it happen just yelled defamatories. I played the set out from the incoming tune but nothing was the same after that.

A couple of weeks back I was playing to a crowd and my missus was in the dj booth with me. I built it up and finished off with solar stone - 7 cities. A perfect ending. I took my headphones off and just enjoyed the tunes with my missus. All of a sudden....
The dozy bitch pressed stop on the turntable right during the breakdown! :whip:
I started it back up and chucked her out of the booth! |
