Eddie kicks Zabielas ass anyday. Zabiela only does that boring "look at me im gonna scratch the CDJ again"-trick
while Eddie really kicks it with the crowd going berserk on pretty much anything
he can find. Zabiela has so much to learn from Halliwell.

Hahahahaha you fool Zabiela pisses on eddie from a great height:p

Yes let's not get carried away now. In terms of talent Zabiela is by far the more talented DJ. You've obviously not seen his spastic hand at work if you think otherwise. But if breaks is not your thing, then his skills aren't going to particularly keep you from being bored.

Halliwell is a mad entertainer, and yes he is very talented, but being compared to Zabilea is just silly. ;)

er...he looped that on going scratching sound right? Or is he doing that manually...:conf:

of course you ing can :stongue:
virtually remixing a tune by scratching and sampling, or ing around a bit during a breakdown, not hard to comprehend is it :conf:

Ian, it wasn't 2 years, it was about 3 hours ;)

Sy, where on earth did I say Zabiela plays breaks, your making stuff up to try and argue. I hardly think I need to get my "head outta james' ass" by mentioning him in an easily related thread. But anyway, I'll stop mentioning him when you pull yourself out of PvD's slack, aircondition battered arse, hrhr :toothless

back onto topic, I've seen Halliwell at least 6 or 7 times, at least 4 of those times he's been too ed to play, and when he hasn't, he was (please note, I saw Halliwell when I was fairly interested in the stuff he played, and fully expected to come away impressed each time I saw him)

Halliwell is a thief aswell. He was playing back to back with the resident DJ (Chris Davis) at my local club and Chris played DJ Elite -That Fuct Camera and had the crowd going mad when he looped it then the following week low and behold Eddie did it in his Essential Mix.Chris really showed him up that nite.He is alot better at scratching and has alot more tricks than Halliwell.

most of the times ive seen haliwell my hearing has been too ed to comprehend anything, but i remember the first time i saw him, it was at promise and he jumped on top of the little plinth in front of the decks during the break of hands up which had never happened before, started egging the crowd which worked, went uber-hyper and then jumped down and scratched like and started jumping up + down ramming the faders, was fun to watch. good effort, never seen zabiela live ever. but imo, its either mixing or dmc, the dmc world championships put both of them to shame, but its not about beatmatching there, its about tricks, two worlds apart, zabiela and haliwell are just hybrids and both good at that. :)
