I heard talks about a draft but I didnt think they were actually going to go through with it. I can't believe they are doing this w/o the public getting a chance to voice their opinions about it. I sent an email to my representatives. Thanks for the info.

although there are many countries in the world that still have national service, i don't think anyone should be forced to fight if they don't want to.

its not as if the american army isnt big enough anyway..? i think what they actually need is more training in how to not shoot themselves and their friends, that way they might last a bit longer.. :p
