Has anyone seen or tried out this turntable? It looks and feels like an exact copy of the Technics 1200Mk2. Here's a link:

It's about half the cost of a new retail Technics - $250US.

You'll have to pardon me. I guess you have to see them in person. They are identical to each other - look and feel. They even have the same markings. The only difference I noticed is that the AT can do 78rpm. Otherwise, the AT is half the cost of a Technics. I'm curious if anyone else has come across these Turntables and comment on how they are in operation. There is a substantial price difference and I'm trying to understand why if they work and feel the same.

You get what you pay for.
nuff said.

Who is to say that these are built in the exact same way with the same quality components? I wouldn't go as far as to say they are a technics 'clone' . . .
