What types of trance do we all have here

Ok now the basic genres are pretty easy to figure out, hard-core, vocal trance, etc.
but now I understand that obvioulsly music from like alice deejay, dj encore, and daft punk are all considered "mainstream trance" and i like alot of that as do probably alot of people, but my problem comes with a lot of other trance i listen to. Like I am listening to digitallyimported.com(regular trance and vocal), ETS-Global, tranceairwaves, and trancesphere. Now people tell me that for listening to digitallyimported.com that I am into mainstream trance ok, but I hear not every once in a while pretty similar melodies in the other stations. So do all those get named mainstream too, well most of you atleast i think would get pretty worked up if anybody called like ets-global mainstream so im starting to get the impression that most people just have a basic idea of where to seperate mainstream from not mainstream but I still think that also on a lot they are just winging it. ***By the way all this I'm talking about excludes hardcore trance or anyother trance that doesnt have sound atleast somewhat close to the radiostations above.
Now so to clarify a few things would some people be willing to try to classify some of these songs as mainstream or not mainstream to the best of your abilities. Anybody could add some if they wanted too also.

(please refrain from doboy and rapture comments not pertaining to whether it is mainstream or not)
****And one last thing I have taken a look at the specific beats to the form of electronica called trance on a keyboard many genres like hardcore trance and a few others fall in other categories other than trance like hard core TECHNO not trance so... if anybody wants to comment on that they can to I realize that a keyboard really would be my only thing backing that up tho too. |

This is a wierd one, that's for sure. I'm not about to classify any of the above mentioned genres of trance, or styles of trance. Because the next thing you know, someone is bashing another person because they don't believe how someone could call Paul Van Dyk - mainstream (that's not what I'm saying either).
The only thing I'm gonna classify in this thread is, that it's going to be full of flamers in no-time :toothless |

Well i'll just start off by saying that Daft Punk and Alice Deejay aren't trance.
Daft Punk is french house, and Alice Deejay is euro dance (although it is similar to trance) |

Idk I try to put out threads that are not so normal. Just so it gets a little more interesting then the several thousand other threads that all usually are either asking what do u think of this artist/song/album or what is ur favs of these.
Yeah you make a good point that some people might get all pissed of what other people are saying about their fav artists and , but if nobody debated a lot of other yeah they wouldnt be as pissed off at eachother but other people wouldnt benefit from it all tho either |

Uhh, you sure Doboy produces? He's not in discogs. If you're referring to the track credited to Iio, then I don't like you.
