Now i'm going to make this a short story, even though its cool.
Anyways around here no body listens to trance, mosty rap and rock. Well theres a store nearby that sells vinyls,cds, all that stuff(theres only like 3 of them like it in my state i heard, the other 2 are far away.. lucky me). So i'm there with my friend and were checking out the singles, and the guy kicks us out cause we werent buying anything(he wasnt mean about it, annoyed though). So as we leave this dude comes out and gives us a flyer, telling us abot how hes throwing it and how its 20 minutes away from where we were at and all..
So anyways you have to call a number to get the directions, no age limit, 20$ at the door, and it says its never been busted.. so i'm wondering if this is one of those illegal all night raves?
I've never been to one and me and my friend really want to go cause were into that stuff, so i'm wondering what i should bring, how i should act and all that stuff.. i dont plan on taking any drugs there cause i dont like to be around a bunch of people while i'm like that.. paraniod..
Anyways thanks for any help, i think this was the right section.. i'm kidna new here. I hope i can really make it, its like 2 months away for holloween, and since me and my friend cant drive we need someone who can.. and excuses

| well man you certainly have your work cut out for you, now dont you? Rides, Lies, and most importantly you dont know if its illegal. Im pretty sure if you go that you'll be fine dont worry about that, its really the minor stuff now. the part you must focus on is getting there if you need the rides and excuses to go. I think since you have so much time till the rave work on a plan with your friend, and have everything set up. It usually works for me, plastikE and I went to southern cali last weekend without any parents, yet his dad thought that we were at his mom's house in phoenix for the weekend, and my parents thought that his parents went with us....damn were good. so yeah after inspiring you to do something untruthful good luck and god speed.:cool: |

yeah, i figured we'll think of something. I'm gonna try to get some older person in school to take us or my sisters boyfriend.. the risk in that is my mom will find out. I dont know if she'll care, i told her other things that i've done and as long as i dont lie or get in trouble everything is fine.
I figure i'll try to get a somewhat large group, find out where it is, see if we can bus it or get someone who can drive and take it from there...
But is there anything certain i should bring(besides glowsticks) or anyhitng i should beaware of? |

I'm so lucky that my parents let me go to where ever i want... raves, go to vacations with friends etc..
Just wear cool cloths, grab some glowsticks, bring some cash for lots of redbull and you're set. and for the ride, you can always take a cab, right? |

you forget that its not like israel they cant take a cub every where they want, its probably very far away.
my advice, put on the craziest clouth you have a couple of stick lights and just have fun! |

Well my suggestion is: be yourself, have all the fun, and a couple of glowsticks won't do any harm......let the music take you. Be safe.

if the rave does get busted, don't worry
the cops come in and tell the person in charge to shut it down
and as long as you're sober, you're safe
as for what to bring, here's what i pack in my backpack everytime
sweater
lollypops
and a blanket to chill out on
and money is always good
i also usually bring my own stix, just cause they make you pay out the ass for glowstix at the rave

ok, i'll remember this. THe only hard part will be getting there, its 20mintues away from the city next to me(Cleveland) so it could be a total of 30minutes away from my house(maybe longer).
After i get the directions i'll think of a plan, maybe ttry to get an older kid to drive.
The worst part is they're not playing trance, atleast thats what it said.. most of the DJs are spinning House and some hip-hop, i'm not sure what the others are since my friend has the flyer.. hes real hyped about it |

| A house/hip-hop rave?? I hope it doesn't end up being that...raves are all about letting the music take control, house or hip-hop certainly don't do that. Just start praying that they do actually play some trance. |
