I've been unemployed for 4 months now and I really can't stand it. I've been sitting on the computer all day and watching tv. I've also been going for interviews a lot, but no luck yet.
I wouldn't mind not having a job for the next few weeks because euro 2004 is about to start.
I hardly ever go out the house unless it's the weekend.:nervous: |

Have been unemployed for 4 & a half years now (but I worked for 12 years prior to this).
I live near the beach so I have alot of things to do to keep me occupied, plus I don't need much stimulus to keep myself from going insane (as long as I have my choons).
The sad part is I'm not bored at all, nor do I get bored easily. |

| I've been unemployed for a couple of months now and it sucks! To be honest i am F**KING pissed off and bored as hell. And my eyes hurt from staring at a PC screen all day trying to look for a job! Having a degree means all to people these days, so young english TAs dont go to university!!!! Get an apprenticeship or on the job training instead, thats what i would of done in hindsight! |

so true. I went to uni for a year and dropped out because I just felt that it was pointless. My manager in the bar/restaurant where I worked told me uni was pointless because employers want work experience instead of educational qualifications.
I've applied for a modern apprenticeship as gas and oil technician, working away on oil rigs. Hopefully i'll be starting the course in september.:) |

| graduated in October from College, been to 20 interviews since then, just got unlucky and not been hired. It is a very difficult job time and as Chesco said they want experience as well as schooling..stupid bastards. I spend half the day applying to places and I go to this job centre where people help me with resumes, interviews and stuff. I need a job, rather work than doing jackshiat and the other half of my day is working on ivibes.nu to eventually show to employers, here is my track record. I think I'm doing both rather well.....I had 3 interviews last week. |
