Should The Masterlist replace the past events

With the masterlist dropping to the bottom of the past events link, its become hidden, and basically pointless. I know there have been a lot of people raising their concerns about it not being really convenient to access anymore. My idea is to sticky the masterlist where the past events link is, either replacing its spot, or locating it just below or above it.

i say put it back up if not atleast sticky it!!!, since i could look up future events which i cant with this new system.
Its hard to click through each thread, its much easier if i know the date, the party and where its being held. |

I think this as well. The event forum is great because it has organized the TOTA forum a great deal. And by no means do i even think events should be posted in the masterlist, promoters should just add to the event forum only. Ill add from the event forum to keep the mastelist updated.

As much as i like this idea, i dont think it should be done. With the event sub forum, this is a place for promoters to be adding their events. If the masterlist is on the top of the TOTA forum, its likely the event forum wouldnt be used as much. If its stickied at the top of the Event Forum instead of the past events link, the masterlist could still be easily accessed, and the event forum would still be the primary use for promoters. |

Technoaddict: What didn't you understand from the pm I sent you about a week ago regarding the masterlist?
Since the sortation script is all custom and new, stickies are not behaving the way they should. Instead of sticking at the top they are sticking at the bottom. The admin is working hard at trying to figure out why this is happening and at correcting the problem. If you could please show a little patience it would be very much appreciated.

I guess im just getting a little bit impatient, and thought that the move of the masterlist was a little abrupt. Since you moved it, i no longer have the capability of editing ANY post in the thread, which makes it almost impossible to update. So why not for the time being, move it back to the TOTA forum WITHOUT a sticky, so i can continue to update it while the admin can figure out the problem in the event forum? |

I appretiate it Ari, its now stickied at the top of the past events forum which is nice. The only thing i have left to bitch about is the fact that i still cant edit the masterlist!!! Fix this, and you'll hear no more whining from yours truly. Thanks in advance. :D |
