Or better yet - should I assume that your vehicle is even made to drive fast? Z rated tires? Sway bars? Tuned suspension?

Sorry! I standard corrected - you know what you're doing...
Indeed, i'm afraid he's one of the unfortunate 99.998% who would answer no to all/most of those questions and still dare to drive over 120  But seriously, where do i sign up for those courses?

ive been doing auto crossing for a long time (not anymore), and ive been to the track quite a few times.

my tires ARE z-rated thank you.

and yes i have front and rear sway bars on my car..

im not driving right now cause im selling my car and its off insurance, but i have a 95 240sx, and if u know anything about that car.. ull know it has the handling capabilities of a porsche... not that it matters thought a stupid driver can do a lot of stupid things.

edit: correction, they're y-rated

unlike most people, i know the limitations of my car.. and MY limitations.. if i wana test them i can go to the track, but i know i can do over 140 on the highway without loosing control.. so lighten up.

First time I saw an asian woman driving with white gloves on I was like WTF!!! Maybe she had some skin condition or something. Then I saw this a few more times and I laughed my ass off each time because it reminded me of Wacko Jacko. Of course, I'd make it pretty obvious that I'm laughing at them driving their BMWs and Mercs with gloves on. :stongue:

So how do you get to the track anyway? The courses RJ posted are all $800/day, that's crazy.

The thread is kinda hard on women, cause they're not worse than men in driving, but out of the 10 or 11 bad drivers that I recall seeing and almost getting an accident with, 8 of them were women. My mom almost got me killed on one SUNNY winter day a year ago, when she hit breaks HARD on ICY ROAD for no particular reason other than to slow down (with no cars ahead) and car spinned 360 degrees like 6 times. I almost had a heart attack! Who the hell breaks ON ICE???

It's not like I see female meachanics or women driving nice tuned-up cars anyhow. Only 0NCE in my lifetime have I seen a female meachanic (WOW, THAT WAS AWESOME!), and only TWICE in my lifetime have I seen a female driving a sweet tuned-up car (stereo system, nice wheels, etc.) and I bet at least one of them was driving her brother's car :stongue: .

In my opinion, and maybe its a fact, guys spend more time on cars, and therefore, know them better, and understand the road better. Driving a car WELL is not just hitting the pedals or turning the wheel. Period.

Come on ladies, show guys that you can drive cars just as great as many of them do! Excluding the teenage male population ... reckless drivers ... trying to look cool :p

I will not start comparing the sexes, cause I am not a sexist, but you cant argue with my view ...

oH, I have seen a few female truck drivers though, and there is a fair number of ladies driving public transit machines
:)

Hehehe should have been around when d!abolic had that thread going hahahaha :stongue:

This morning on Breakfast Television they had this thing where people that think they are good drivers would be called to answer a few questions from the driving test training manual...so they called this lady that claimed she's an EXCELLENT driver and has been driving for 18 years...she was all errogant and stuff...and they asked her 2 questions and she got them both wrong :stongue: That was funny...

The questions were
1) If a cyclist puts his left arm out bent and pointing up - what does that mean? (they gave her options and she still got it wrong)
2) If there is no speed limit sign present what is the assumed speed limit?

:happy2:

I did all three BMW driver training courses (not the winter one) and I had a blast, $3k well spent.
