Does this post even belong here? anyway... Was just wondering how record stores/online recordstores get their supplies. Whether it is like this:
supplier1 -----|
supplier2 -----|
supplier3 -----|---> middle guy---> STORE(juno, vinylwarning etc.)
supplier4 -----|
supplier5 -----|
or like this :
supplier1 -----|
supplier2 -----|
supplier3 -----|-------> STORE
supplier4 -----|
supplier5 -----|
coz it sounds cheaper if they get it from the suppliers directly but then it is more troublesome keeping track of the numerous labels?

You get with a good distributor. A good one will have all the latest stuff sourced
Suppliers/labels---> distributor/wholesaler---->store
Nothing to stop you having two distributors tho- although they might get ty if they find about the others |
