Do you know anything about computer troubleshooting? If yes, then apply to IBM right now cause they're hiring tech support and they need night shift guys (I know this cause I work there). The pay is around $17/hr. Try applying to any tech support job that requires overnight shifts. The pay is decent and you do all ;)

except when you get a call from an old fart saying "hey i bought my modem and installed it , the cable is plugged and everything looks ok , BUT WHAT'S THIS INTERNET THING ? AND WHERE IS IT ? EXPLAIN TO ME NOW" ... this actually happened to me when i used to work for videotron

hehe no , i was a CSR agent , so i "nicely" told him to off "sir i'm gonna transfer you to the tech support department , they will explain to you every single thing you want to know about THE INTERNET" :haha:

OMG! I get customers all the time who were referred over from videotron! The customer is like "Well videotron says everything is fine on their end so there must be something wrong with my computer"... then for the next half hour I have to almost TEACH the guy how to use his computer!! ARRRGGH:whip:

haha funken... im gona be looking for a job in montreal very soon too.

i have NOO clue where to look for a job.. all i got planned is walk around montreal and hand out resumes everywhere.. but i dont speak french and thats gona hurt me big time!

i was hoping to find a job in retail or atleast something that is fashion oriented.

i guess ill take what i can at first before i find something better just so i can pay rent.. this is gona be really ed.. moving out on my own :nervous:

there are a couple of call centers specialized in english only (you don't need to speak french but of course you have to be "perfect" in english) , i'm sure you can find a job there !!
