Just to let everyone know last night I won a DJ competition!
I don't know how many of you lot out there enter them but I've been in a couple and the furthest I got was the semi-finals. But last night was bloody amazing! People were loving what I was playing. Some girl even came up to me and was giving me glowsticks to wear. Ha ha. Thing is I didn't even know what to play until I got up there. It was a half hour set I had to do so I just picked up a few tunes that I'd love to hear because I thought a generic house DJ would win because that's what's more popular at the moment. Anyways I played:
1. William Orbit - Adagio For Strings 2004
2. Ferry Corsten - Indigo [Original Mix]
3. Clubmasterz - Cyberdrive [Syntone's Airforce 1 Remix]
4. Gouryella - Tenshi [Transa Remix]
5. Corderoy - Sweetest Dreams [Ferry Corsten Remix]
Plus I was last on so finishing with Sweetest Dreams sounded ace!
I won some record shop vouchers, champagne and... I go through to an even bigger Grand Final now. Woohoo! Best part is I'll be the only Trance DJ! So it'll only be me representing TA!
Anyways, just wanted to share that with y'all. Anyone else done anything similar? If they have they'll know what a great feeling it is! :D :D |

Cheers. It'll be in a couple of weeks so i bought a few new tunes today for it. Should be good. I'd prefer it if I was on last again. Trance finishes a night sooo much better than House does. |

Not sure. I bought if from Only-DJ's and the only thing it says on it is Barbers Adagio For Strings Remix. Promo use only. |
