Well the boat takes 500 people...guvernment takes 2,000....that's 4 times more people than the boat...hence more expensive hence higher price |

| Exactly, and when he did play a cruise before they were able to offset costs by having him play for a huge capacity crowd on the same weekend. Also, he wouldnt have charged such a high amount to play as it would have been included in the larger contract. |

| Regular boat cruises cost around $40 a ticket with just locals. The $65 ticket price the Armin boat cruise is cheap if you ask me. |

i know i had a boat cruise for my OAC semi-formal, and it was the same price, and beleive me, it was no armin up there |

I remember ITM at Ryerson together with Retail i think had our boat cruise on the SAME BOAT just about a month ago...same capacity we had 500 people on board and it was perfect room...
LKD was there you can ask him too...The boat itself is not really impressive lol...but it would be perfect for this event and there are 3 "floors" and more than enough room for 500 people!
Plenty of bars and friendly staff :D |

i do agree with you. this is a special event, asking for a special price. The Guv does need to cover its costs cause its only 500 people. Think about it...on a regular night they dont have to pay an extra boat rental fee, just the lease payments, which they already budget for. But now they have to add the extra cost of renting the boat, as well as paying armin.
$65 is expensive to see a dj, but the math works, so its ok |

| Paying $65 is no different then paying $100 to see some singer like britney spears, or 311, or something.....people pay way more to see someone they like then we all do to see our fav. djs!....we should consider ourselves damn lucky! i remember i bought my mom shania twain tickets and they were like $75 american! and it was in the nose bleed section! :D |
