Infusion Confirmed for Glastonbury, Roskilde & Hultsfred Festivals 2004.
On the eve of finishing their highly anticipated sophomore album, Infusion have announced the details for a string of summer European dates that includes some of the biggest and best festivals in the world.
Included on the tour are confirmed shows at the legendary Glastonbury Festival - this year Infusion are the only Australian act to be included on a bill that spans a who's who of music comprising everyone from Paul McCartney and James Brown to Oasis, Muse and Morrissey. As with every year, tickets sold out at 120 000 capacity within 24 hours of going on sale.
The following week Infusion are joining the Roskilde Festival, again as the only Australian act invited to grace the stages across the four-day Danish extravaganza. They join current music luminaries such as David Bowie, N.E.R.D. and Basement Jaxx as they take to the Metropol stage on the Friday night.
Also included is a spot on Sweden's biggest festival, Hultsfred. The three day festival, set in Swedish countryside four hours from Stockholm, plays host to a wide range of acts, including Alicia Keys and Morrissey. Infusion's inclusion on the bill is their first appearance in Sweden and will be recorded exclusively for Sweden's national radio channel, P3.

18th June: Hultsfred Festival, Sweden
19th June: Chibuku Shake Shake, Liverpool
25th June: Glastonbury Festival
2nd July: Roskilde Festival, Denmark
3rd July: Renaissance, Nottingham
9th July: Urban Gorilla, Sheffield
10th July: Optimus Hype @ Meco Festival, Portugal
11th July: Traka Festival, Germany

Great news about the new single etc. I would live to hear them live but doubt i'll be able to see them at any of those UK dates. Maybe another time. |
