| I went to a club last night that usually plays dance music….. Some cheesy stuff, but it's the best thing you can get here…. But instead, they had a live event!!! Two rappers (the one was the very famous Coolio!!) shouting 'youuuu mothaaaaaafuuuckers' all the time and the crowd just standing there and listening…. That was just so cool!!!!!! :rolleyes: …… Im not sure why they call that music anyways… There is no rhythm or anything and you cannot dance it….. It just sucks….. TERRIBLE!!!! I tried to have some drinks maybe get a little drunk or something so that I would enjoy it but I just couldn't...... I got out mad, about 1 hour later having spent about 50 dollars for entrance and drinks to experience this sh*t!!! I don't know what you think, but for me rap f*cking blows!!!! |

ive listined to the whole album, let me just say im open to so much music, but when theres a whole genre that eather talkes about ghetto stories, growing up with no money, gangs, thugs, killing, bitches, bling bling, drugs, compton, harlem, brooklyn, and every other goddamn thing they talk about, it gets really boring. I feel that rap is at a boring point right now. in a couple years or more or hopefully sooner, im sure it will redevelop into something far greater than it is now |

ya very not rap... I dislike rap alot, think it all sounds the same. And I really dislike Jay - Z, and the Grey Album sucked ass... Now as for hip hop, its sucks, but not like rap, cause it at one time was really good. |

trance sucks because all they do is some person sits on a computer and makes a boom boom boom boom beat then it breaks down then teh beat comes back then it breaks down again then the beat comes back
that takes no creativity!
its the same arguement
all music is different, and some people like other types over others.
and what i've noticed about most people here who "hate rap" is that they are talking like the people who hate trance because htey heard DJ sammy |

| I agree with montie, it's the same argument on both sides of the story. It all depends on your impression of rap. If you heard some crap like 50 Cent or something to that effect, then you're not gonna get what the genre is all about, and therefore are going to reamin stereotypical. If you listen to something great and catchy, you might be more open to the genre, and see that not all rap sucks. |
